Association “Russian House for International Scientific and Technological Cooperation” The Association was founded in 1992 as non-commercial organization aiming at creating conditions for voluntary unification of Russian organizations interested in commercialization abroad of their own technological developments as well as of foreign companies that are ready to invest in scientific and technological and industrial spheres of the Russian economics. The founders of the Association are Ministry of Science and Technologies of the Russian Federation, Russian Academy of Sciences, Ministry of State Property of the Russian Federation and Russian Foundation for Fundamental Research.
The Association is a member:
- Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs,
- Commercial and industrial Chamber of the Russian Federation,
- International Federation of Inventors` Associations (IFIA),
- European Union of Inventors (AEI),
- Institute of Foreign Trade of Italy.
Basic directions of the Association’s activities are the follows:
- Formation of data bank of Russian technologies that have no analogues abroad.
- Organization and holding specialized technological exhibitions, seminars and symposia abroad.
- Formation of international scientific and technological projects and their legal support.
- Transfer of Russian technologies abroad, arming at creation of joint industrial ventures.
- Accommodation of foreign orders in Russia for carrying out scientific research using Russian specialists.
- Export of results of scientific and technological activities and import scientific and research equipment.
- Preparation of proposals directed to improve Russian legislation in the field of international scientific and technological cooperation and international industrial cooperation.
- Preparation and publishing of analytical materials and recommendations for Russian members of the Association on functioning of international market of technologies, prospects of its development and methods of working on the market.
- Preparation of recommendations for foreign members of the Association on the most profitable and perspective investments in scientific and technological sphere of the Russian economics.
- Performance of R&D work for the State needs within the Federal target oriented program “Researches and development on main directions of a scientific and technical complex of Russia on 2007-2012”
